Telera’s network is a Web-powered applications platform that is available to Telera customers via secure and managed IP connections over a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Voice communications functions are embedded in the Telera network and dynamically controlled by enterprise customers through the use of Voice XML. Telephony applications, including touchtone and speech-enabled IVR, voice recording and messaging, complex queuing and routing, conferencing, and outbound call management, can be developed and deployed as Web applications that are platform-, programming language- and environment-independent. Version 5.0 includes support for IP-centric technologies and converged infrastructures.
